Two Major Changes!

Starting in February 2019, Troop 429 is planning the following changes:

1. A new location! Troop 429 will be moving from Concord to Martinez. We are not too far from our original location, but we have a new charter organization, and will be using their facilities in Martinez.
2. Welcome Girls! Troop 429 will now be split into two separate troops. Our existing troop will continue to be boy-only, continuing our 50+ year tradition of building character in young men. But now we will have a new second troop consisting of young women. These two troops will be separate, planning their own activities and earning their own merit badges. However, by “linking” these two troops, they will be able to share equipment, facilities, and an adult committee. We look forward to starting this new adventure in scouting!
